I love working with grungy overlays when I make papers, and I wanted to share with you a little tutorial on how to use the Transparencies overlay
Open/make a paper
Add one of the transparencies overlay to your paper
Make a new layer on top of this one and recolor the black (Ctrl+G) then (Ctrl+E), try using your background color, for a distressed look
You can also add a other transparencies overlay, and recolor that like in step 3, but this time use a very light version or an almost white color for a sanded down look.
and one or more of the transparencies overlay, with different colors or blend modes for a unique look
Now add a texture, to make the paper look even more realistic. And now you are done :)
